Hotel heiress Paris Hilton's current beau, Josh Henderson, has revealed that his ex girlfriend, pop singer Ashlee Simpson, will always be special to him.

The 'Desperate Housewives' star, who split with the singer after a two year relationship, said that Ashlee was his first love and they had discussed their future together.

Henderson also said that when they were dating, they were sure that nothing could separate them.

"She was my first love. We talked about the future and marriage and stuff. Back then it was like there was nothing but us. We thought we'd be together forever," Hollywoodrag quoted him, as telling New magazine.

The couple had split because Henderson did not want to appear on the reality series 'Ashley Simpson show'.

The 25-year-old admitted that splitting with Ashlee was really tough for him, and he was heart broken after the break up.

"Finishing with Ashlee was one of the hardest decisions ever. I was heartbroken but she'd just got her new program and I knew I didn't want a relationship on TV," he added.

Henderson and Ashlee are still good friends, and the actor said that he still meets up with the singer for dinner.

"She's always been a very special person to me. We're still friends. We meet for dinner now and again," she added.
